Level 2 – Building Portfolios
A portfolio is an album or binder. It helps you to organize and record information about your skills, knowledge and gifts.
It is an important tool that shows educational or training bodies— as well as potential employers— what you have to offer.
Portfolios can include:
- Certificates of achievement
- Awards
- Newsletter articles
- Stories/poems/songs you’ve written
- List of training and volunteer/work experience
- Letters from others about you and your skills
In this workshop you’ll learn:
- What a portfolio is and why creating one is important
- Intro to coaching others to identify their skills, knowledge and gifts
- How to build evidence for a portfolio
- How to organize it all
- How to set goals and overcome barriers
